My Story

Amanda D'Addario is a dynamic professional specializing in special project management and design, boasting expertise in placemaking, wayfinding, environmental graphic design, and branding. Her journey in the field began with a stellar academic record, culminating in the completion of a Master of City & Regional Planning and a Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning and Design with honors from Rutgers University's prestigious Edward J. Bloustein School in 2020.

During her tenure at Bloustein, Amanda honed her skills in redevelopment and re-design, focusing on community sustainability, and earning certifications along the way. As a LEED Green Associate and a proud member of the American Planning Association, she demonstrates a commitment to excellence in her field.

Amanda's passion for sharing knowledge and fostering growth led her to mentorship roles as a Teaching Assistant at Rutgers University. There, she guided students through the complexities of Designing Healthy Cities and provided invaluable support in studio design, facilitating workshops on Photoshop and elucidating Vision Planning tools and techniques.

Transitioning seamlessly from academia to the professional sphere, Amanda embarked on an enriching journey as an intern at Metrovation, where her dedication and talent earned her a full-time position post-graduation. At Metrovation, she honed her craft in concept design and project management, collaborating closely with contractors and vendors, and contributing to project budgeting and accounting. Additionally, Amanda played a pivotal role in the marketing team, spearheading initiatives in social media management, graphic design, and photography.

In 2021, Amanda embarked on a new chapter in her career, founding D'Addario Design LLC. As the driving force behind her one-woman enterprise, she lends her expertise to small hospitality businesses, crafting bespoke brand identities, producing impactful marketing materials, and lending her creative flair to physical design projects. Notable clients include Salon Coco Bond, The Coal House of Sea Girt, Cafe Coco No 7, Guest Cafe NYC, Hair By Karissa Marie K, and Reclaimed Firm Architecture Co.

Amanda is characterized by her unwavering creativity and insatiable thirst for knowledge and growth. She thrives in multifaceted roles, seamlessly transitioning between responsibilities and leveraging her creativity and ingenuity to overcome challenges. With a tenacious dedication to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering excellence across all endeavors, Amanda remains poised to make a lasting impact in her field.
